Welcome to HF. Good luck in the search and make sure you make it to a group hang near you, great place to see various hammock rigs and meet very interesting, likable people.

WOW! What a welcome! haha I don't think I've ever met such a happy bunch of people. Must be all the hammock hanging making you so content with life
And I've never had anyone make a video for me before, I got a little teary-eyed (in the most masculine way possible of course).
I'm sure I'll feel right at home
Bomber:
Great to see a few faces from "home" in Scandinavia too. I live in Malmö so I'm on the border to our Danish friends as well.
MedicineMan:
Would you perhaps have the same interests in natural remedies as I do?
Thanks again guys, looking forward to much forum:ing up in here.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.
Welcome!!!
Hey, Swede -- Welcome!
Here in South Texas several items made in your country are held in very high regard. I depend on my Wetterlings, Gransfors-Bruks and Fallkniven blades every day. We always think of Sweden as having very fine outdoors traditions. It's just too bad I'm afraid of snow!

Yeah we've got some good knifesmiths over here for sure, especially in the north there is more of an outdoors tradition (Lappland etc.), a lot of hunters, fishermen and lumberjacks =)
Although I'm from the very south, so we generally seldom see any real amounts of snow, it usually doesn't get cold enough. But yeah, I don't like the snow either. The winters always get me depressed and wondering why I live where I do, when I could live somewhere warm like the south of france or in Tennessee!
Summers are holy to a people living in the dark most of the year.
