SOLD: BMBH w/ IX UQ

I have a Bear Mountain bridge hammock with modified suspension and a single layer Insultex UQ that I would like to sell or trade.

The suspension modification was done by GrizzlyAdams. It consists of 7/64th amsteel from the corner steel rings on the hammock body to the steel ring where a whoopie sling is attached. The spreader bars and bug net have not been modified.

The IX underquilt was made by MacEntyre and is made to fit a bridge hammock. It would probably work on any hammock, but it was made for a bridge. It has never been slept in or taken outside.

Is this the older model or newer one? The newest version of this is supposed to support more weight.

I don't know. I know I weigh ~260lbs on a bad day and it supports me fine. I traded my black bird for this earlier this year. I'm pretty sure it's the newer model.

The only difference between the newer and older model is the spreader bars. The older models are silver and the newer are black. You can buy the newer spreader bars from the JRB site. The hammock body is the same.
