    speer hammock suspension

hello out there in hammock form world, Just got my new speer hammock and tarp. I was wondering if anybody has changed the stock straps with the famous whoopie sling. And if so is it holding up ok.
This has probably been talked about and if so I'm sorry to bring it up again

No worries, I'm sure every brand of hammock has had whoopie sling on it by now. The only concern would be if the Amsteel would cut into the hammock. And I haven't heard of any amsteel cutting into any hammock as of yet.

I' sure it'd be fine, but there was something I liked about the simplicity of my speer. Absolutely nothing to go wrong, other than catastrophic material failure!
