AHE seems like a good place, but they're out of stock on cinch buckles. I was leaning towards decender rings as I thought you can use them with both cord and webbing unlike buckles. If buckles can take cord too then I don't know!

Are there any UK based shops that sell kit. I've bought from the states but recently I've been stung by some pretty hefty import duties.

Do I need a continuous loop to attach the buckle to my hammock biner or can it go straight on? I suppose with the loop it'll act as a drip catcher too?

    Hi Highbinder.

The whoopies are pretty easy to make yourself, and fun too. Same with the nacrabiners.
You need some single braid dyneema line which is available mail order from plenty of marine suppliers. Marlow D12 will work fine, but I prefer English Braids dynamic line because of its much bigger breaking strength in the 2mm size.
I got mine from here, they have been good to deal with.

I use a similart setup to Ikemouser, but I have adjustable loops through the channel and these clip to the tree huggers with nacrabiners.

As far as webbing you can order polypro 1inch or poly 1inch, your call. I use polypro, its lighter. it will stretch initially, but after that its done stretching. People usually carry anywhere from 5-8feet, i carry 6.
