The only thing I don't like is the Amsteel going through the sewn loop---yeah i know its not going to be a problem for a long time; in fact I did it with the Hennessey Backpacker A-sym for years, but eventually it will cut through. This is a perfect example of where a Dutch clip can reduce wear on the tree hugger (tree hugger's sewn loop).
Great job on showing the beauty of the Dutch Biner in action. Mine should get here within the next week and I'm going to compare/contrast with the soft-shackle...something already tells me that the soft-shackles will be replaced! But at the weight of a soft-shackle no need to leave them both at home.
