    Talking hello from NC

hello all !!!! I am a 62yr old kayaker, who "hangs" ,whenever it is possible,I have an OLD jungle hammock, and a 12x20 brown/silver tarp.Ialos have a 6 person tent[no stones please],which I set up as base camp, but the hammock goes in the boat ., I kayak all 4 seasons and enjoy "the boat as much as the hammock". I do mostly coastal kayaking but sometimes on large lakes also.I have been camping since Iwas 9years old[almost got it figured out---lol],hope to learn some from hear and maybe able to help someone else."enjoy your days, and, remember your nites "move or die" "the only easyday, was, yesterday"

Welcome! I've been stuck in hammocks for about as long, but never got stuck sitting down in a short bottom boat! Have a good camp!

Welcome to HF glad to have you with us. I like your comment about the only easy day was yesterday. That has always kind of been my philosophy also.
