    Western Mountaineering Flight Vest

Hey all bought this vest in May from Jeff at Mount Rogers Outfitters, wore it once at home and then hung it up. It is in like new Condition and is as warm and light as they come.

Size is an XL, and I'm 6'0 208lbs and it fit me fine.

    Looking for $140 Shipped.

Wow! That's a great price and shipped! I love my Western Mountaineering sleeping bag that I've had for years! Too bad this is not my sweetie's size.

    Here's what the web says . . . .

The Western Mountaineering Flight Vest is just what you would expect from the premier down sleeping bag maker in the US. It weighs less than the Flight Jacket, coming in at about 5 oz for a med. It works well as an insulating layer for hiking, especially helping to retain heat at resting points. It also can really help out if your sleeping bag isn't getting the job done keeping you warm at night. If you are looking for a lightweight, compact, & highly insulative layer, then look no further. This is definitely one of the best down vests that you can get.

5 oz total weight for medium.

Super Light #3 Coil YKK Zipper
    DWR treated shell
    Insulated hand pockets

Thanks Happy Camper. I've got a flight jacket and a meltdown jacket and I love them, just never wear a vest these days.

Saving now for WM's down comforter for my bed.

Yes, somebody buy this thing! It weighs just over 5 oz and is VERY warm. I bought one and paid full price ($175) just 2 weeks ago. If I didn't like the store I'd buy this one and return my new one. Western Mountaineering makes good stuff. I also own a Megalight sleeping bag, and two flight jackets.
