Or is it white to hide my camo hammock from the rescue crews looking for me after the blizzard strands me on the mountain side?
Surely it's gray or something and not white. The white would go over well in Canada though.

    another note from Ed Speer

OK, the updated Speer Hammocks web site is now up &
    running! Long
overdue, but it's finally done! I'm not much of a
    website designer,
so I'd appreciate hearing from anyone noticing
    problems with the
    site.

    http://www.SpeerHammocks.com

Our new WinterTarp is included with lots of pictures.
    Also new
pictures of all of our products, including the SnugFit
    UnderQuilt,
    PeaPod, TopBlanket, and Hammock III.
Online payment is now possible with the PayPal
    shopping cart—this
should make it much easier for those ordering with a
    credit card.

Anyone wishing to place an order before Thanksgiving
    should do so
immediately—we'll be closed Nov 15-25; and orders
    placed during this
time will be processed after the 25th.

With the cooler weather we're having here in the SE,
    staying warm has
to be on everyone's mind. The good news is: We've
    got ya covered!
    Check us out…..ed

    Thank God I'm broke!

Darn shame that Xmas bonus is only a couple weeks away. Maybe the temptation will die by then...yeah right.

FF - Are you still waiting on the 'biners, if you are how close are you to ATL? In all but one of REI's around here I've seen the mammut moses 'biners... if you need them quick, you could always cancel the other order

Thanks for the tip. I'm still waiting. I live about 10 minutes from an REI. I also ordered some MSR Groundhog stakes from them which I can also pick up at REI. Might just cancel the order.
