I have this one. I like that it has a hook. No matter what the description says, it registers to the ounce. It has a tare feature. I use a small bucket to hold small stuff. It's very convenient when you want to bring it to the trailhead and allow everyone to weigh their full pack.

I have a digital scale in the bathroom that I use before I converted, and carried a 60lb bag occasionally . Now I'll still use the scale but my pack will be lighter.
Its better to be prepared for something that may not happen then to be unprepared for something that does happen.
i use a kitchen scales that only does grams
I use a digital scale from the fishing section at wally world.
