I will be coming out with a line of synthetic quilts, top, under and kids, with Sanborn Canoe Co. hopefully 1st of the year, maybe sooner, maybe not. These will be the best price i can pull off.

There is no doubt my quilts (enlightened ones) aren't cheap, and the wait is long, but they are the best materials around and i believe my designs merge some of the best features out there.

Most of my customers have come from BPL as I only recently started hammocking myself and that change for me has driven me to work on creating gear that is best suited to hammocking and i have a lot to learn on that front. I am only on BPL and now here. I don't advertise at all and have relied 100% on word of mouth and my reputation from being an active member over on the BPL forums. I have been on HF since 2008 but only started posting recently as I am not here to promote my gear but to gather as much info as I can as i learn to enjoy life above ground. Even though i am not here to push my equipment i try to answer questions and chime in when my stuff comes up, but most of this community isn't familiar with me as of yet.

    Any q's let me know.

As a long time customer of Tim's i can vouch for his products quality and his workmanship. Like he said, it's not cheap but you get what you pay for. He is a great guy and easy to work with. Glad you finally saw the the light and joined the "dark side" of backpacking, Tim

Hmm. Not familiar with that site. I looked around briefly and found my site listed under their UL gear makers list. Did they do any reviews? I couldn't find anything else.

Well Shug I spend a lot more time in the canoe these days. That change has had a lot to do with my change to hammocks and not being so uptight about gear weight. The BWCA has lots of rocks and i don't want to sleep on them anymore. I have also found that the canoe is much easier to use with my growing family where on the trail i just carry everything which goes against my SUL hiking strategy.

Marsh Law, I was trying to find the weights of your products and see that they must be listed in that Xcel spreadsheet. Unfortunately I have a Mac and am unable to open the file. Any chance you have the numbers posted anywhere else?
