I'm still new to exploreing the many functions of HF... but is there anyway to search members by region? An example of the use for this is mass email regional alerts of possible group hangs that may not have been brought to ones attention. Or even reason two for people who are new to the hammock world could research the gear of those in the area that might have a regional bias... Like hammockers in Arizona may use radicaly differnt gear than alaska. Just a thought.

There is an ongoing thread on a Hammock Forums Google Map, which might be useful to you. There is also a thread on HF members making use of Facebook - thread and FB group.

There's also a thread on doing the same sort of thing with Twitter, but since Twitter is...well, twitter, I didn't include a link to that thread.

Yeah I saw the google map thing... I'm a point and click person to much technical stuff for me. I'm simple Id rather like to just click a tab that says members than a sort by location. Besides noone in az is listed on the google thing, and don't do twitter or face book so on and so on. Simplicity.
