Thanks again to all for the cordial welcome. Now if I can just figure which end I hang to which tree I will be on my way

    So many questions I have.

You've come to the right place with questions. After just happening upon an Appalachian Trail thru-hikers blog (in other words, wasting precious time surfing the web for a reason to avoid urgent matters!!) awhile back I set my mind on returning to the woods after many years away. The hiker raved about his hammock. I found this forum.

Many hours later, several dollars lighter, I'm now a hammocker and proud of it.

Good luck on your new obsession. In the end, crack is probably cheaper but that's okay.

When all is said and done and you take the leap to gear making, be sure and post a pic of your thread injector next to the bike. That'll go over big at the monthly motorcycle club meeting.

If you need any help, I'm in the Miami area and am always looking for a reason to get out of the Banana Republic of Dade.

    Welcome

Welcome to the trees. I have not seen any chrome plated equipment yet, but I am sure someone here will be able to make some to match your trike.
