    What's a Gearskin? lol

I can see that it's essentially a "backpack" that's been stripped down and redesigned to allow easy packing of ones shelter and sleeping gear.

I would like people to tell me about their gearskin experiences.

Sell the whole concept to me :P

I want to know what advantage a gearskin has over a normal Backpack.

(I hope hope I haven't come across as arrogant, I'm just really curious)
In case you didn't ask google your question first, Sgt. Rock has a writeup on the Moonbow gearskin that is worth looking at.

I otherwise have no experience with the gearskin.

Think "taco" with gear as the filling. I haven't used one yet, but the concept is interesting.
