    Pan,

I use a Long HR which works well, but still struggling to get into the 20's. Added the fleece liner, which helps alot but is a bit cumbersome. Would also like to lose some clothing in the sleep system so the High Sierra Sniveler looks good for winter, esp with Mt. Rogers looming. Would you suggest a long in the HSS as well (I'm 6'1").

Any comments on the extra quilt width vs the HR in a BMBH?

    Thanks,

    Javaman

    Javaman,

At 6-1 a High Sierra Long is the correct fit.

Ordered! That now makes six (6, not "sicks" but I'm starting to think I have a problem . . . ) JRB quilts that will be hanging in my gear room. 2x HR and 2x MW3 for three season for my son and I. Those quilts get me to the mid 30's where I then add a fleece liner to the HR and a 1/4" GG pad in the BMBH pad sleeve.

My thought was to double up the MW3's for deeper temps but this sale is just too tempting. Here comes single digits!

Btw I think I have officially left my gathered end HH for the BMBH. It's just too comfortable and easy to use!
