    Working on modifiying a mummy bag to be rigged as an underquilt. I use a 1/2" ccp but want more insulation underneath. Don't want to invest more money in quilts/bags...just want to make what I have more versatile.

    Anyone try this?

    Patrick from KAQ - his first underquilt was from a TNF bag. Turk posted on Sgt Rock's forums how he modified a brand new bag to be an underquilt.

    I think I've heard of a handful of others who have done it, but those are the ones that I can think of right now. Shouldn't too tough of a project if you plan it first.
