    Noah 12 Winter Setup???

I finally purchased a Kelty Noah 12 tarp for my winter adventures . I've set it up in winter mode a couple of times but seem to have a problem getting doors resemable tight. I can get tarp nice a tight, about 5' high about 5' wide at floor but doors seems to be too long and i need to pull that way back in towards center of setup length wise. This is creating a funnel effect for the wind at both ends...

Anyone have any tips to setting this tarp up in a winter mode with doors???

The times I set it up like this I had the same problems with the doors having to be pulled way in to get them to close tight making less room inside. I wounder if pullouts sewn in a different spot on the door flap instead of using the point of the tarp would help get them out instead of in

This is how I have set mine up as well. I have not used it "officially" like this, only testing in the backyard. I plan to tweak it some this week as I have my first winter hang coming up, and would like to perfect it a little.

Use the second tie outs in from the corners as your stake out points, then fold the corners in as doors.

I'm still kinda new and picked up a Kelty 12 (not for as good a deal as you) but I pinged 2Q's about doors on my tarp and who knew it pretty much comes with doors! Thanks for that advice. Hmm... about 8 inches of snow out there now, perhaps I'll have to try this setup today. Thanks again!

I figured it out on my last trip, here's the skinny....

    1) Continuous ridge line with tarp attached via prusik knots at each end...

    2) Hang ridge line at about 6' pull ridge line snug but not tight, leaving prusik sliders loose...

    3) stake out four "CORNER" ground stakes, will need to work around tarp a few times adjusting till tight and square across bottom... make sure doors are closed with a biner at bottom loops... note tarp is tight and square across bottom but still hanging loose on ridge line...

    4) Tighten prusik sliders on ridge line done...

Might have to play around with this but I think this is correct... here's results...
