    I can't speak from personal experience, but this thread... http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=24599 ...gives me the impression that an OES (or other) "square" cat cut tarp might close up better than the hex shapes? They already have the 4 tie outs too.

    Maybe somebody more experienced will chime in. I'm also interested in finding a tarp that I can close up, even if it's only big enough to do at one end or the other.

    Mmmm, rectagular tarp with ends I could fold in, I'm likin the sound of that.

    Just emailed Brian at OES asking about a custom 11x9 Cat cut that I could use in this manner.

    Might be onto something, Made from SpinnUL it should be around 14-15oz.
    Bit lighter than a tarp with removable doors too and only 1 or 2 oz heavier than a Deluxe.
