Making a list, checking it twice...

    What a hoot.

Wife asked what I wanted for Christmas.

Printed out some pages from Ed and OWF and circled the fabric, etc.

She said, "Are you sure, this is your Christmas present."

    Yea, I'm sure.

Are you addicted if you ask for fabric for Christmas?

ps. better than ties, underwear, socks, or aftershave....

pps. better than trying to convert 1.1 ripstop to 1.3 sil ripstop!!!

that's funny. Most years my list runs to "interesting books, interesting music", which my family finds somewhat frustrating. This year it was item numbers, fabric weights, colors, and quantities from owfinc, seattlefabrics, sailrite...

they do think I've gone a touch wacky. In hushed whispers among themselves they attribute it to a mid-life crisis. I'm quick to point out that it has less impact on family life than more typical expressions of mid-life crises such as red sports cars, mistresses, or startup companies.

Santa is being goooooooooooooooooooood to me. Santa brought me a No Sniveller & the JRB larger tarp! Both on sale! Makes up for last year before I started hammocking. I can't even remember what he brought me last year! (My family is . . . how do I say it . . . perplexed.)
