    Short notice AZ hang

It looks like I might have some open time for a hang between now and the 10th (ish) of January. Any other hangers have some time off that would want to get a small get-together hang organized. It might be the wrong time of year but I would really like to get back to west fork of oak creek canyon, or maybe where the last hang was (West clear creek?)

im thinking of leading a trip to Palm Canyon (kofa wildlife reserve) or a quickie at Reavis Canyon, down to Picketpost (AZT segment #18) but Ive also been eyeing a return to the easy to reach and fantastic area around Romero Pools with a cool, shaded oak grove in a sheltered pocket along the creek.

these 3 are on top of my list for a new year's kickoff hike.

Let me know. I would love to attend. Are you organizing these through ABC or hammock forum?

Do you have a favorite place to hang in PHX? I used to live there(before my hammocking
days) and was just curious. I would think Squaw Peak, Camelback Mt., and Tempe town lake would be nice places.

I'd be interested in a trip early next year.

The problem with those places is there is nothing to hang from

Give me a date to shoot for, and I would make it. I'm heading towards Colorado in the morning, then shooting towards AZ. I want to be back up to Minnesota for the Frozen Butt hang, but I am flexible between now and that hang.

I'll gladly do Oak Creek. I'm out of town until Jan 3, but that weekend would be fine most likely.

I can't commit until I know dates and the location, but I'd be interested.

I don't an UQ yet, so if the spot will get really cold, I might have to pass for that reason. I might be OK into the 20s. Maybe...
Life is hard? Compared to what?
