    Vintage Mountainsmith Ghost backpack

SOLD! - - For sale $75 MountainSmith Ghost pack only used once. It's in perfect condition, no wear at all. Hopefully the pics will upload here. It not, send me your email address and I will send you pics.

Purchased this maybe 8+ years ago? Can't remember the specifics. I believe it's American Made when MountainSmith was still making packs in the USA.

Not really sure of the weight or volume as this pack is no longer made. My guess would be around 3100+ for volume and I seem to recall the weight at around 2lbs - 8oz or so. Not exactly sure here as maybe someone else knows the specs for this. It does not a full hip belt and a round fiberglass rod which gives the pack very good support. Much better then frameless packs. It has deep mesh water bottle pockets on both sides with a large "U" shaped #10 YKK zipper for top loading.

I am selling it because I just have too many packs and need to reduce what I have. I was saving it for that special trip that never seems to happen.

I will pay the shipping in the USA, so I think the cost is a good deal here considering how nice this pack is and that it's just about new. The color's are also very nice, i.e. black and a steel dark gray. Much nicer in terms of color and quality then the more recent versions of this pack

FWIW, the MS Ghost was the first pack I really loved. Its an awesome pack and I still own my 2002 model (mostly for sentimental value as I almost always take a ULA pack these days).

Anyway, my 2002 model looks just like yours, is 3100 cu inches and weighs right at 40 ounces. A very comfortable pack, carries a load well, and is very convenient with the panel loader design.

Whomever buys this should be very pleased!

The road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with weary feet, Until it joins some larger way, Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.
