does the jungle hammock have a ridgeline?

Just curious , does the claytor jungle hammock have a structural ridgeline? I have a claytor no net hammock, and recently gave it a structural ridgeline and was very surprised at the results. (to me, it has alot more comfort and a flatter lay) Anyway, just wondering.........................

For a short answer,no.I put an adjustable SRL in one of mine but I had to cut small holes in the bugnet and then sew them back up.

A hot nail will cauterize a small hole for a ridgeline, peak bag, etc. No sewing required.

With the Jungle Hammock you may have to do the ridgeline like this.

Pic is of a Clark but the design is the same as a Claytor

If you do a search Raw had a thread showing how to set this up

    Found it

I have a claytor too and what i did was get some plastic cinch buckles and attached them to my tree straps toward the ends and on the outside of these i put some plastic snap hooks. I then run the line from the bugnet to these hooks and it works great. No sewing or compromising my hammock in any way and no letting in any noseeums. If theres a place for them to come in they will find it, believe me.
