    I converted.

Well I have been a lurker for a while. Today I got my first hammock. I got the Hennessey Evador. I went for a camping trip this last Oct. and sleeping on the ground even with a pad killed my back. I bought a cheap hammock for just around the camp site. I spent the majority of my time in it when I wasn't out hiking. I think I will like converting over to a hammock.

Welcome to HF! Glad you found us. Please post a picture of your setup if you get a chance. I guess it's called the Evader because it's camo?

    Welcome! I think you'll like converting to a hammock as well. I'm with MAD777 - I can't believe I didn't try it sooner.
