I'm working from home today so I'm hoping to escape early (about 3) so I'm hoping to get there around 5 or 5:30 depending on traffic. I plan on bringing some beer. Anything else I should bring?

Ok, with the issue with the gate locked are these directions not good?

From Ocala: follow SR 40 east for 32 miles to the intersection with SR 19, past Juniper Springs Recreation Area. Turn right (south) and continue 4.6 miles. Look for the sign. Turn right on FR 535, which after a half mile turns into FR 595C. Continue 0.9 mile to FR 595-2 and turn right. Continue 0.6 mile and turn left. Continue another half mile to the Group Use Area.

I think a quicker route might be to take 17 through Palatka, then hop on to 19 there. Shouldn't be too much traffic that time of day...

I'll be heading out around noon-ish, I hope. Just depends on how busy we get at work today.

Just looked at the map. Google's recommending 17 to 19 also.

I'm leaving Kissimmee early tomorrow morning. To anyone reading this on-site from their smartphone, how is parking there now? If its too crowded, I'll hike in on the FT from the SR-19 trailhead.
