I own a place on the Kancamagus Hwy butting up against White Mtn Nat. Forest near Conway, NH. It's a playground for campers and hikers!

But, Acadia Nat. Park is one of my most favorite places on earth!!!

You can't go wrong with either, but why not do both!!

If you stop in MA I camped at this place about 10yrs ago. It has a cool trail to follow on the river with a canoe

How far south in PA are you looking to travel?? I have been to many state parks in PA, only had a problem with 1. Every site had about a 5ft square spot to camp, that was for your tent/motor home, canopy, picnic table etc.. Terrible sites, but the park itself was nice.

If you're looking for National parks, i would HIGHLY suggest Gettysburg NP. Not sure about camping, we always stayed in a group camping area for scouts.

There is an amusement park that has camping in Central PA, Elysburg PA to be exact. Knoebels Amusement Resort/park (www.knoebels.com). Free parking, free admission, they have campsites for rent attached to the park.
Experts are the ones who think they know everything. Geniuses are the ones who know they don't.

You need seek no rocky summit, for these high places are within you.
