Since I'm an amsteel noob I'm stuck with the question about the difference between 1/8 and 7/64 inch amsteel.
the breaking strength of course and a little weight, but I'm more concerned about it being 'idiot proof' (the idiot being me of course) than weight savings.
Is there anything I'm missing here??
No math today. Snowing so I need to go to bed. Gotta be up in a few hours to go back to work.
However, I should be home just about all day tomorrow so I can get the payment arrangements worked out. I did forget to add in the paypal fees in my quick price figure a few posts back. I think its still 3% and $.29 per transaction.
However, the IRS, starting this year, is requiring Paypal to report any accounts that have $20,000 AND 200 transactions within the calender year. Not sure if this includes personal payments so I need to look into that. Since Im not selling the line for profit, Id hate to have this venture count against me next year on my taxes.
Get a good accountant if you're going to be in business for yourself.
Besides, you're small potatoes. They won't target you over a few thousand dollars...
Im figuring shipping prices right now.....
You international folks that arent in Canada are going to get hammered.
I figure I can get 200' of 7/64 into a small flat rate box which goes for $11.95 to Canada and Mexico and $13.95 everywhere else.
Anything above 200' will need to go in a medium box which goes for $27.95 to Canada and Mexico and $45.50 everywhere else.
Payment thread HERE.
