Jan. 2011 Oregon "Hang Out"

Headed to Tillamook Forest to get together with a few of the like minded and away from the city. The original destination was a no go. They narrowed the bridge on the route I used to take. Soooo. CK and I decided to camp a little closer in so others could find us. And find us they did. Camp fires, conversation, scenery, and best of all...HANGING!

It got a little chilly at night, but it was good. Everyone seemed to have gear to handle it. We only had one visit from a curious coon. Aside from the ATV crowd, it was pretty peaceful. I hope I didn't snore too loud! Enough of the talk and on with a couple of pics. Thanks to all who came out. I hope we can get together again soon!

Wake.Joe -- That was a total bummer, but I'm super-glad we got to meet you both! I can't wait to try out the spot you recommended.

Here's a couple (SOOC) pics. I'll see if I can swing a video. I don't know, though. I didn't record much in terms of video, because I didn't want to be too annoying on our first outing.

This is a shot of the surrounding forest. Damp and chill-aaay, but delightful! I'm definitely going to return to the TF and spend some quality time, me thinks!

One thing came to mind. I noticed that there were no butt heads out there. Everyone seemed really cool. We even discussed religion and politics and everyone was civil. I'm wondering if the reason I didn't notice that there wasn't that one obnoxious person that drives everyone nuts, was because I was that person????

I sure hope not!

Glad we all had a good time. We'll hopefully get something together again soon.

Heh heh heh... And here I was thinking I was the annoying one!

It was super nice to go out with folks I'd never met before (always a risky prop) and immediately feel comfortable. It made for a wonderful and relaxing hang.

Good company and conversation -- fer sure-zees.
