    Ottawa, Ontario Hangers

Just after I posted my original question, I looked at several more forums that I thought I previously read, and stumbled upon a thread that answers alot of my questions. Not looking more closely at the forums before asking made my original message really dumb. I would still be interested in any information provided by a local though...

I am from Ottawa, anyone interested in showing a noob some tricks to the trade?

It's always easier to get pick someone's brain when you are buying them a beer. So maybe we can arrange to meet one weekend in February, I can bring my hammock to show you what I am working with (which coincidentally will provide us all with a good laugh too). I am free just about any weekend (with some advance notice). So I will let you look at your calendar (and maybe danalex will chime in) and we can work something out. Looking forward to this thanks in advance.

We're going to go freeze our butts off during the third weekend in February.

As much fun as that sounds I am not sure that my first introduction to the lifestyle should be so cold. I don't have the gear for anything so fridgid. I will stick to instructions from a fellow member in a bar during February.

As an added complication, I am away the weekend before this trip (Valentines) and will have to work the weekend after.
