Looks interesting, my first thought was that I wouldn't trust those anchors that it comes with. I screwed one of those all the way into the ground at my aunts house yesterday and I could pull it out with really trying very hard. The ground IS really soggy right now, though.

I don't see why the guys that are always looking for a way to hang in a hotel room couldn't make this work, with a bit of ingenuity.

There's almost no load on the guylines...they could be tied off to just about anything.

So the main load is taken up by the poles? May see if home depot has any thing strong enough...think the hardest part would be trying to figure how to line up/ cut the poles at the right angle and make them long enough to hold the hammock

Okay, folks, here's your hotel set up. A little tweaking here and there to accommodate one of our hammocks, and the deed is done.

Elementary .. My Dear Watson....K.I.S.S. right ??...love the simplicity of the design...OldGringo...I agree....a little tweaking and this could be used almost anywhere..I really like the sunshade and the "tarp"... definitely puts a few wheels in motion in the 'ole noggin'..

GGT....I would think something in a square/rectangle stock would be the easiest...keep us informed if you decide to make one...nice find...
