    hammocking in -24 below. Minnesota!

    Geretings all,

Had a great time at the Northern Tier leader training. Two of us (HF members) hammock camped while others were OTG. I used a homemade pod system consisting of a zero degree Coleman Traverse bag for my outer, Byer Hammock, with my Coleman Expedition 0 degree inner bag and woobie. Bed dress was arctic level polypro and down booties, balaclava, with the hot water bottle for comfort, Splendid as "shug" would say!!

Or, mother nature is. Have a 3 night trip scheduled for first weekend of Feb, wonder if we might luck into another barbarically cold night?

Wow, you guys are awesome with all of this below zero hammock adventure! This has certainly been the year of the pod, DIY or otherwise.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
