Awesome, thanks for the map hulk. I'd like to be there on Friday, but I gotta work till 4, so I should make it to Kingston somewhat early, but not early enough to get all the way to Neah Bay.
I'll try to be there early on Saturday though. How long will you be staying into Sunday, or are you going to be leaving fairly early (I know it is Easter)?

    Bump...

Spent some time configuring my pack. Since i will be using my Dixon Roller pack to haul trash, i have my big Gregory pack strapped to the Dixon for the ride in. Everything inside my Gregory is in a dry bag, plus it will have the a pack cover. Ready for the rain...but after checking the extended forecast it appears we may get lucky and see some sunshine.

I'm planning my way over there and the question has to be asked, cause it is such a terribly long drive, anyone wanna pick up two hitch hikers and split the gas from the water over?
You don't sleep on the ground at home, why would you expect me to out here?

Well, from the postings I've seen on this thread, it's just going to be you two, Hulk and I. If anyone else is planning on showing up, I look forward to it.

I'm going to be driving from Kingston on Saturday morning. It's about a 3 hour drive from Kingston to Shi Shi. If you want to park your vehicle at the ferry dock in Edmonds and ride the ferry over on foot. I'd be happy to pick you up and drive from there.

I'm hoping to leave Kingston for Shi Shi as early as possible, so I was thinking around 6 or 7 am. There is a 5:35 ferry that leaves Edmonds on Saturday morning. The next one isn't until 7:10.

Let me know what you guys think.

I drive a Wrangler. So 3 people + gear = one super cramped ride. That said, i can re- install my back seat, if your headed over on Friday.

Well I had wanted to go over on friday, but someone also invited me to a hotsprings hike for friday, so Hulks wrangler might be a good excuse to take the easy out and settle for going over Sat morning. I would love to meet up with Mindwalk, I like the early start.
