    wow, that's great to see the beak take the brunt of the wind, rather than the sides. Go beak go!

    you all are hardy HF heros for skiing out and camping in that, and (more importantly) bringing it back in photos and videos so the rest of us can enjoy it too---but safely---while we sip our morning hot drinks in the comfort of our homes

    Wild conditions! What was the wind speed and temp?

    Going to have to look into beaks. So many situations where they help.

    Defiantly what I would call some extreme hammocking.

    I agree, It's the best thing I ever did to improve my OES Delux tarp.
    So small so light I always carry it.

    Do that!
    It's one of my favorite gear.
    Coldest we had that weekend was -7C , in the Gusts it was blowing 13 -14 m/s.

    The weight penalty is not to bad
    and it really makes such a difference when its needed !
