    Just Thinking....

Has anyone used one of the military personal bug nets the kind that can go over a whole cot? Was it big enough for a hammock or was it cramped using it? I see they can be had pretty cheap on ebay. How does it compare in weight to say an ENO bug net or another Bug netting enclosure? Did you Have to modify it and if so how so?

I played around with something like that last summer on a bridge hammock. Since the bridge is just a floating cot, the only modification needed is holes in the net to let the suspension lines out. You can get bug coverage with less material, so that's the way I went. But a cheap bugnet like that is a viable option for a bridge hammock.

I was just wondering the same thing. Is there a commercial bug net that doesn't cover the entire hammock (wrap around)?
