    Seam Grip

Has anyone here used Seam Grip? I am making a few stuff sacks and want to waterproof the seams.

Also, I recently bought a Mamajamba with pull outs. I have not had it out yet. Are the seams and pull outs sealed on Warbonnet Guys tarps like they are on the OES tarps? If not I will want to seal them up as well. I will probably just use Seam Grip unless anyone has a better suggestion.

The seam sealer on my OES is shiny and a little tacky. Which makes me think it is Seam Grip because that is how it looks and feels.

    Thanks.

If you are going to use it on silnylon you should use silicone sealer. I have read poeple use silicone sealant diluted with mineral spirits. I read a post that suggested Permatex flowable silicone sealant used on car winshields. I tried it yesterday on a tarp and it looks good. Seamgrip is good on regular nylon. I have used it for tent repairs and tent fly seam sealing.
