i have the wb traveler net and its a great, simple piece of gear.
i like the arch entrance.. and even being short, am just conscious
to not open the zipper all the way.

that said.. i prefer the structure of an integrated bug netted hmmk.
there's no loose, droopy fabric in my face. i could foresee an issue
with skeeters biting you through the noseeum that touches you.
of course you lose the ability to go netless, somewhat, depending
on the type of hmmk. full side zip - 2qzq mod - switchback - etc, etc.

in bug season i foresee an underquilt, and i've never had an issue with
getting bit through the hmmk fabric and quilt or pad. once you combine
the net and hmmk... you're at about the same bulk, again, depending
    on the chosen equipment.

Hmm good answers Rip. Droopy bug nets got me thinking of tie outs. I had a bad experience in an eno. My whole body was swollen including my face, haha. I'm a bit on the paranoid side with bugs.

the wb net shouldn't droop much at all, if you're using it on a shorter hammock than what it's made for, there are rings to rig a suspension to hold it up, if used on the traveler, that's not even necessary.
