    Newb Signing in!

    Hey,
I'm a newb to the world of hammocks. However I'm hoping that this site will help me learn more and soon give me the info needed to start making my own hammocks. I'm a creative person who enjoys the outdoors and is somewhat of a neo hippie! Sadly I reside in a large city and don't get a ton of time outside the city limits but when I do I thoroughly enjoy nature. I have recently began camping more often and have a nice 40mile Colorado backpacking trip scheduled this year. I hope to have a DIY Hammock strapped to my pack!

As you can see I ramble a little. lol However hopefully I will learn a lot here and meet some great people in the process!
    See ya around,
    PCE

Welcome! You definitely need to get a hammock for your trip. I think it will make it more enjoyable. Lots of helpful DIYers here.

Well I plan to use a DIY thread I stumbled onto earlier to create a basic trial hang for a weekend trip I'm taking in march. Then I'll go from there and see what I can do. Thanks for the welcome!
