    Birkhead Mountains NC Short Hang 2/26-27

    Hey guys, Had a great hang in the birkheads. Everyone was cool to hang with, (being the first time meeting anyone from the forum). Hanging with a group, theres nothing like it!! Anyone get any pics??

    Our little group hiked all the way into the NE corner, at the foot of Cedar Rock Mtn. That's near the source of the Betty MgGee Creek, which flows north a couple of miles to Tot Hill Farm, then flows back south on the other side of the ridges to Thornburg Farm, and circumnavigates the entyre Birkhead Wilderness Area before joining the Uwharrie River.
