You don't hear a lot about the Trek Light hammocks...

But I have to say I love mine. I can't believe the comfort, such a huge and comfortable hammock all for 20oz! For any time a bug net isn't necessary and all you want is to hang somewhere, it's hard to beat the double hammock. Good job Seth, and I think that second package should be here any day now!

I have checked their site out several times. They do look like great hammocks, and I've read where they have given a percentage of their profit back to this site from referals last year. That's a nice plus!

Glad to hear a good review on their hammocks. Post some pics when you get a chance!

Will do! I was going to today, I had the hammock out, set up my warm drink kit (Brunton Flex/Vargo Mug/Snow Peak Spoon) and made a Mint Tea and hung out. Sadly, it was -17C (1.4F) with the wind chill, and I didn't feel like having my hands and camera out in that cold

It's easy. Simple, run the ridgeline between the gathers. Not a problem at all.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I installed a Warbonnet Blackbird ridgeline and suspension system to my TLD. Works great!

Attaching pics of my TL double from last summer. I figured out the length of ridgeline I wanted and clipped it into my suspension rings with biners. You can see it in the pics. Not really a permanent structural RL like on my Traveler, but it worked great for me.

ofsjason is right, for all the hammocks I've put in boxes and sent out over the years the TLG forums here are way too quiet! We've got an extremely active community on our Facebook page (just about to cross 10K fans!) but I'd love to see more pictures and stories posted by HF members here. If you have any ideas or suggestions of ways we can get more HF members talking about Trek Light I'm all ears.

Thanks for all the great comments and for always sharing your love of Trek Light Gear whenever possible!
