WITHDRAWN: NEW AARN BACKPACK, Peak Aspiration

$160.00. Selling my NEW Aarn Peak Aspiration with new Balance Pockets. Also new side straps that hold vertical items tight against the pack and close to the back. See picture. (This as a $270 pack value). It's a large pack body with a medium hipbelt. I am an 18 to 20 hipbone to 7th vertabrae and my jeans size is 36. See the Aarn website for fitting and sizes.
$160.00 Shipped to Cont US, Thats a good deal for an unused pack.

BTW, this is last years model though it is new. There is also one listed for sale on Aarn USA just like it. The thing you need to know is this Medium hip belt cannot be replaced with one of the newer style ones. This one needs no add on clips however, and though DanaMac thinks it's one of the older style, it is certainly the new style compared to my last Aarn PA. Just wanted you to be informed.

I think all the specs are there, but the Pack weighs 3.5 and the balance pockets add another lb.

This is pre-2009, or at least pre-November 2009. That is when we received our first shipment, and this pack shown is different. Differences are the color of the liner, the hip belt cannot be upgraded as the velcro is reversed compared to the new ones, and the webbing that runs through the lower back sleeve is a different material. Mule's pack looks like it has been upgraded to the newer style front holsters on the hip belt for the balance pockets. The original ones did not have the snap on them, but those are the 2010 front balance pockets.

Having said that, this is still a VERY good pack and definitely a great deal with the front pockets included. The side Lasso Loc straps Mule has attached are great, which we have been sold out of for 2-3 months. Definitely snatch this up is you can.

PULLED FROM SALE. NOT FOR SALE NOW. I was checking out the size of the hipbelt for a potential buyer, and packed and repacked my gear in both the Aarn and the ULA that I just bought, and there is no comparison to the comfort my Aarn gives me even without the use of the front balance pockets. I am going to have to keep the Aarn too.
I like some of the features on the ULA Circuit a lot and it is comfortable for a 20 pound load, very. The ULA is also 1 1/2 pounds less weight and with the front balance pockets on the Aarn it's 2 1/2 pounds more. I suppose that's part of what the difference in comfort is, and I know much of it is due to the floating hip and shoulder straps on the Aarn. The Aarn is just more stable for me.
I have written the same thing above too so it wouldn't be missed.
Sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused. The one potential buyer wanted to wait anyway because I don't think the hipbelt was the right size for him.
