    Newbie looking for advice

    got an asym Ultralight. not slept in it much but i am looking for answers for the condensation. also i am going to try to make my own winter set up. possibly with adding reflectix to my faom pad. or should i just buy the reflective thermorest. i would love an UQ but the finds are not there right now. what are my alternatives???? thanks in advance

    also, if i get some snake skins will it still fiit in the bag it came in??

    I'm sure one of the pad-people will come along and help you out, but condensation is just part of it (for me) when I use a pad. Making a nylon pillowcase to put on the pad helps by wicking away some of the moisture instead of it pooling below you. Some people have also drilled small holes through their pads using the holes as drainage/ventilation to help reduce the condensation. Everybody has different results.

    For some of us, pads just aren't a viable option. People like me that tend to run warm at night anyway have serious condensation issues. I switched to UQs long ago for this very reason. Hope someone has a better answer for you.
