Mahha Spring Hang April 25,26,27

Still planning on coming with the boys. Have a friend who might come. I'll also try to talk my brother into coming.

Although I said in a previous post that this will be a very low key event with nothing structured other than a Saturday night BBQ, two interesting "events" have been added:

"OH-NO" has agreed to give a short workshop on building and using alcohol stoves from cans.

Also, PAN, one of the two "'Jacks 'r Better' "Jacks", will bring an example(s) of the flint knives that he makes that are so sharp that they have been used for doing surgery. I thought that everyone would find these two things very interesting.

Good because I have had this gallblader problem for some time. Maybe I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

There once was a thru hiker named Dutch.
Twas a Bridgeskin he created and such.
To the hang he’ll bring it
Our praises we’ll sing it.
And want one if the cost is not much.

My way of saying if you show up at this hang, you'll get to see Dutch's wickedly cool Bridgeskin.

My son and I will be coming. I got my hammock at trail days and HE and Doctari helped me with it the first time, or should I say I learned alot from them and am grateful.

I used it for a 4 night/5 day hike across MD in July. only ended up in shelter one night.

I am hoping to learn alot more at this hang out. Thank you for having it.

Just a quick note to remind everyone that the Spring MAHHA Hang is only two months away...the weekend of April 25, 26 & 27. See earlier posts for more information.
We'll begin posting more information beginning the first of April.

i'd like to get up there & hang out w/ you guys (& gals), but i'll be opting for the shorter drive to the SEHHA in hot springs.

We'll have our Fall Hang in October. Maybe you, NCPatrick and Tinkerbell can drive up together....but, you'll have to listen to hours of Hannah Montana lol
