    Ridgeline Brain fart

I want to make a ridgeline for my tarp and I already have the right cordage to use with my tarp flyz and it works great. However, I can't remember how to do the right splicing for the other end that connects to the tree. Does anyone have a link or what I need to do it right? Thanks a lot.

Are you just wanting a loop in the end?
    This has a locked brummel.

i keep my RL attached to my superfly all the time.
30' 1.75 zing-it with fixed loops in both ends.
RL thru the tarp rings and tarp rings prusiked to RL with Opie's Soft Shackle Prusik. ileave approx. the same length of zing-it on both ends and use a truckers hitch on both ends as well.
i'll which to "flys" when i can snag a pair.
i use skins for my tarp so it makes for really quick set up.

i'm not suggesting you should do so, that's just my current set up.

I didint even bother doin a locked brummel for my ridgeline. I just did an overhand. It would make for a finished look to do it though. Now that I think about it I'm gonna go back and do a locked brummel. Details.

I did it and am very happy with it. I also drilled a hole in a pen cap and then use it as kind of a permanent toggle for my ridgeline. It makes set up so much quicker and with my tarp flyz too it's pretty much perfect.
