Is your dog a "Bouvier des Flandres?"
It looks like one... except for the ears...one of the best family\guard dogs there are.

She is indeed a Bouvier des Flander. She came from Belgum, it is ill legal to crop ears infact now docking tails is also illegal. At a Bouvie gathering several Boouvie owners told me how beautiful Willow is, once they adjusted to her ears. I went through croping my Doberman's ears back in the 70's, I decided never again. Just personal feelings. There were two dogs in Oregons 5 day dog show with natural ears. She is very gentle, great hiking partner, just a little worried about sleeping in a hammock together.

I have had 2 Rototillers and haven't dock the tails, So I totally understand. I'm hoping to make Moses, my 6mo 76lbs Rott my new hiking partner. He is very defensive though not sure it will work out with him. would love to get him to hang with me too.
