    Technically isn't it a blanket then and not a quilt?

    No it is still called a quilt just used more like a blanket with a footpocket.

    I love this argument. Isn't the definition of a quilt 2 layers of fabric attached together using either baffles, darts, or sewing with insulation inbetween?

    By any name though it looks like a good piece of gear.

    I know what you mean that is definetly called quilting.
