    New to this....need serious help

    So here's the back story....

Borrowing an Eno DN hammock for the summer. Was planning on buying one when I have to return it. I really really like the easy set up. Pretty loop around a tree and connect the carabeaners and you are ready to go. Zero set up required you can hang as soon as you get home from the store. Love it. That is what I need. I bought the ProFly as a rain fly....easy enough to use. Love that too. So here's the problem. Bought the BugNet and I really really don't like it. First I put up the ridgeline, then you feed the hammock thru the net and tie it on the ends. But I really don't like how it drags on the ground. I'm afraid it will rip and thus defeat the purpose of a bugnet. Maybe I didn't hang high enough but I'm also only so tall. And I had trouble getting the ridgeline tight.

So here's where I need help. I am keeping the rain fly..it should work fine with any hammock. I have to give back the hammock at the end of the summer and I was thinking of returning the bugnet. What hammock can I buy that has a built in bug net....or at least an easier one to use that doesn't drag on the ground. The bugnet was about $59 and the hammock it self is about $65 so I'm looking in that price range for both a hammock and bug net. But I really want something that is easy to put up b/c that is what attracted me to the ENO in the first place. I've taken it with me to the beach and set up on the pier in minutes...I really don't want anything complicated. Any suggestions???

I got a Warbonnet Traveler hammock for 75 (includes suspension which doesn't come with the ENO hammock, the slapstraps are 25.00.. and they stretch like crazy, the Traveler comes with a great lightweight suspension) and the Warbonnet bugnet which was 65 and is 1lb lighter and doesn't sag so much. Hope this helps. Oh, also check out their Blackbird hammock, the 1.7dbl is more expensive but some of the lighter load ones are around your target price.

For the higher end I agree with the Warbonnet Blackbird is great but for bang for the buck maybe look at the Hammock Bliss No See Um No More Hammock. It has an integrated bugnet but you can just flip it over and use it without the bugnet if you want.

    hehe... yup.

    love this thing.
When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own
