    Zip Ties ???

    So does everyone going into the jungle carry zip ties? I think it would have been more realistic if he'd used only paracord. And judging from the video, it was obvious, you'd want a bug net in those conditions.

    When he cut his hand, he talked about the slight possibility of infection... but not once did he mention the multitude of problems you might get from all the biting mosquitos/bugs.

    Good suggestion about the old hose though. (If you don't have access to webbing, you could string some amsteel through the hose to protect the tree and proceed with a marlin spike set-up.)

    Also, I'd like to see him make a bridge version of that hammock
