    The smaller one will keep you dry with no problems.

    Wondering how you came up with 15oz more to carry the Superfly? MacCat Standard and UQ protector about 17-18 oz and new style Superfly 19 oz.

    Just trying to make your decision harder if the weights really are that close

    I have have very good luck staying dry with the small size of the standard and when the weather is bad I get my hammock up tight under the tarp for max coverage. Lately I have been using one door that I made to put on the corner that might see the most wind and it works great for the few extra ounces.

    I have the old Superfly and have the doors attached by 2qZq that includes all guy line 8 of them and the continuous ridge line and stuff sack
    the macat with guylines is 11 oz I would be taking the UQprotector 7 oz for added warmth it provides as well as protects the down 10 days don't want wet down
