Once again another great experience with one of our cottage guys.
I'm pretty new to hammocks in general and this is the first camping hammock I have owned. Prior to this I had an Equip 1-Person Travel Hammock paired with a Hammock Bliss Mosquito Net Cocoon. For the $60 total dollars spent on them, some Amsteel (from Redden Marine) and a bit of webbing (Arrowhead Equipment) it made for a fully functional, modular system. Although a heavy one.
Then I stumbled on to Warbonnet here on Hammock Forums.
I ordered a Warbonnet Blackbird Double Layer 1.7oz.
Received it less than 3 weeks after ordering.
This thing is amazing. About half the weight of my other set-up. MUCH better materials and workmanship. The stitching is perfect. The double layer leaves room to use a pad and not have to fight with it. I find the footbox makes it easier to get in and comfy compared to my former system. A nice flat lay. I cant enough about this.
Thank you Warbonnet Guy. Your gear is fantastic.
Now to work some overtime for a 3-Season Yeti.
