Hey Guys, we should coordinate a group hang on the Chatooga. I know of some great places on the Chauga as well so we could all share some info. I'm also well known for grilled trout! Help catch em and I'll grill em!!

Count me in if it is after October. I have a Civil PE exam to get ready for at the end of October. I'll need a good trip after that!

I agree! I'd bring my long handled titatium spoon. That way I would be able to reach all the way to the bottom of the pot and scoop up every morsel!

I don't know how far you are from Russell Bridge but if you park there it's around 4 miles to the falls. It's a moderate to easy hike. You can take the "trail" that runs along the river or you can take the actual CRT. I've done that section twice and it's still a good one to do again.

As a matter of fact the picture of my avatar was taken when I hiked it the first time.
