    great report! Almost like being there....ah, wait a minute.

    That was indeed special birch bark, I've not seen the American variety take off like that. Sweden is a special place. And 190 proof adult beverage has a certain purity about it, don't you think?

    I had a couple of ticks as well, but you won't see me posting pictures of them on the Internet!

    I did it last year with a Pinnacle.
    2/3 of this years crew will do without a Epic.
    So it's not something you need to have,
    just **** nice to have

    A liner or several waterproof bags works great.

    Alpackas has one weak point, open water and against the wind.
    I wish they could invent a Windpaddle that works against the wind
