Hello from a North Georgia Gal

I've been a backpacker and camper since my twenties and in the past year joined the Trail Dames and Southeast Women Backpackers to occupy myself during football season! LOL.
Long story short, I met several "hangers" and borrowed a hammock for a trip last weekend. I am a restless sleeper on the ground and wake early and often, crawling out of the tent stiff and sore. When I woke up this weekend, I lay looking out at the trees with my bag snug around me.....and then it dawned on me....I actually wanted to stay in the hammock!!!
Ordered my Warbonnet Blackbird this afternoon. .... Look forward to a new journey

Welcome from another Woodstock hanger. I know what the wait will be like. I went through it a month back when I ordered my WBBB. You will love it when you get it.

Ah welcome! It's nice to see new people show up after discovering or to discover the correct way to actually sleep well in the woods without breaking your back to get comforts there.

Hammocks > tents, cots, pads, etc.

Someone has already mentioned it, but there is the Jericoh hang coming up. Will likely get to see some cool DIY and purchased setups there.
